    Why is the name of the brand John 1:1?

    1. God as a familiar term:

    • In this verse, God is one of the terms used to refer to Jesus. Most unbelievers believe there is a God, which is the very term/name that is common and acceptable unto their hearing.
    • Since John 1:1 is central to understanding how Jesus is God, among a few other scriptures, it leads into point #2.

    2. Points to the gospel of John:

    • The scriptures we refer to matter to how people will recieve the gospel. People will remember the scripture we use and it is in hopes that they will hide it in their hearts. After sitting with it for a time, an unveiling of the truth may take place.
    • This verse was also chosen in hopes that someone would continue reading the first chapter and the entire book of John to be exposed to the fullness of the gospel.
    • For those who already believe, it is our hope that someone might see it as a starting point to study the text to make a defense for the gospel on their own since any person can have an objection to the gospel.

    3. Preparing for the unbelievers' objections to the gospel:

    • The blog should be a place where people can go to find exhortation in preaching the gospel as it will address things you can use to prepare and deepen your understanding to reach and respond, with love, gentleness, and kindness, to objections to the gospel.

    Why use Matthew 9:37 scripture?

    • Matthew 9:37 is used to point us back to the text that shows why the Lord sends us to do this type of work. Jesus ministered to so many people in different places and He had compassion for those He couldnt reach, even while He was walking the earth.
    • How much more called are we to answer the great commission BECAUSE there aren't many workers. It begs the question: is evangelism just for evangelists? Or can we all explore how we can reach the people He wants to reach.

    • Afterall, we make room for the Lord to change the hearts and minds of those He reaches. Our only call is to speak what we have heard ourselves.
    • 1 Corinthians 3:7 - If we plant and water then God will give the increase!
